How We Develop Each Stage

Ages 6 through elite-level competition.

A staged development model built around age, movement quality, nervous system readiness, and long-term athletic potential.

Evaluation First

Every athlete starts with an evaluation. We assess movement quality, athletic ability, strengths, and areas for improvement so we can build a training plan that supports long-term development and measurable progress.

Book Evaluation
1

1st Quarter: Foundation Phase

Ages 6 to 9

This is the stage where we build the movement foundation by wiring the nervous system.

Focus
  • Sprinting fundamentals
  • Jumping and landing mechanics
  • Coordination and rhythm
  • Agility and reaction drills
  • Balance and body control
  • Fun, engaging movement
Why it matters

Early movement experiences shape how athletes develop long term. Done right, this stage builds body control, speed, coordination, and a strong base for future performance.

2

2nd Quarter: Development Phase

Ages 9 to 12

This is the golden window for skill acquisition and athletic development.

Focus
  • Foundational strength training
  • Sprint mechanics and acceleration
  • Plyometric work
  • Advanced agility and reaction training
  • Deceleration and body control
  • Competitive, high-focus environments
Why it matters

The nervous system is still highly adaptable, so athletes can rapidly improve speed, explosiveness, coordination, and movement efficiency.

3

3rd Quarter: Performance Phase

Ages 12 to 16

This is where athletic potential starts turning into measurable performance.

Focus
  • Progressive strength and power development
  • Advanced speed and acceleration work
  • Change of direction and deceleration mastery
  • Deceleration and change-of-direction mastery
  • Sport-specific movement application
  • Recovery and injury prevention
Why it matters

Athletes gain more speed, power, resilience, and preparation for high school and college athletics.

4

4th Quarter: Elite Performance Phase

Ages 16+

At this stage, the focus shifts from general development to maximum performance transfer.

Focus
  • Advanced speed and acceleration training
  • Maximum velocity development
  • Strength and power training
  • Reactive plyometrics and elasticity work
  • Change-of-direction and deceleration mastery
  • Recovery and injury prevention
  • Sport and position-specific movement
Why it matters

Athletes prepare for varsity, college, professional, and high-performance environments with greater speed, explosiveness, power, durability, and recovery.
